On May 15, residents of
the Fonda-Fultonville Central School District approved the
district's $24,503,901 budget proposal for the 2007-08 school
year. The proposal represents a 3.96% increase
over last year's budget and an estimated tax levy
increase of 3.00 percent.
Residents also elected J. Matt
Sullivan to the Board of
Education; approved a $2.71 million EXCEL Aid Capital Project; and approved a proposition allocating $13,000 to the Frothingham Free Library in Fonda and $3,800 to the Fort Hunter
Free Library.
